Het is ouderwets winter! Hier in het noorden ligt nog steeds een dik pak sneeuw en er kan weer geschaatst worden op natuurijs. Ik geniet ervan, gelukkig zijn de grote wegen goed begaanbaar dus wat mij betreft mag het nog wel even zo doorgaan! De sneeuw nodigt ook uit tot het maken van heel veel foto's (zie de header en de rechterkant van mijn blog) en geeft ook onverwachte decoratieve effecten. Zoals deze krans van sneeuw die zich heeft gevormd rond de windlichten bij de voordeur. Een echte natuurlijke krans!
It is winter in Holland! In our region there is still a lot of snow and ice skating is possible. I am enjoying it and the snow invites to make a lot of pictures (as you can see on the header and the right side of my blog). It gives unexpected decorative effects, like this wreath of snow around the lights at my frontdoor. A real natural wreath!
Op de verschillende Scandinavische blogs keek ik wel eens met enige afgunst naar de prachtige plaatjes van enorme hoeveelheden sneeuw, vorst en de decoraties die daarbij gemaakt werden. Nu we er zelf ook middenin zitten ben ik ook maar eens met ijzige deco aan de slag gegaan... heel eenvoudig hoor!
On the different Scandinavian blogs I often looked envious at the beautiful pictures with the large amounts of snow, the frost and the different decorations they made. Now we have the same circumstances in Holland I made some icy deco....very simple!
Het enige wat je nodig hebt: bakvormpjes, water, wat rode kralen en vorst...het resultaat: een "icy deco"...
The only thing you need: baking tins, water, some red beads and freezing weather and the result: an "icy deco"...
En ik heb nu een ienie miene ijspop in plaats van een sneeuwpop in de tuin...
And now I have a tiny little iceman instead of a snowman in the garden...
En tenslotte nog even samen op de foto... ik geloof dat ik de kerstkaart voor 2010 al heb gevonden!
