These days we have tropical weather in Holland, about 30 degrees and more. That means puffing in the shade and being glad with every little breeze you can get.A number of plants in our garden love this kind of weather and they are doing very well. The lily in our pool is producing a lot of buds and the one after the other beautiful flower appears. Yesterdaymorning we saw this beautiful pink one, and guess what, we bought this lily at a supermarket for a very low price.
And of course the white ones are beautiful as well.......
Last year I planted a grape-plant on our terrace, in the heath of the sun on the southside of our house, it's growing very well. I like those little grapes.
But after a few of those very hot days the turning point is coming near.........and that was yesterday afternoon. It became scary dark outside, almost green; thunder and lightning and buckets full of rain. Suddenly we had a big pool in front and behind our house.
And this is the look of our beautiful annabella's after the rain........
............A load of broken flowers.......wonder what will become of them when they are drying up............
